Included Quartz
Included Quartz is a captivating variety of quartz that features visible mineral inclusions trapped within the crystal as it grows. These inclusions form when other minerals are present in the surrounding environment during quartz’s development, becoming sealed inside as the quartz continues to crystallize. Rather than being flaws, these internal features enhance the stone's character, giving each piece a unique, almost otherworldly landscape frozen in time.
The Brazilian quartz clusters in this collection showcase some of the most common and visually striking inclusions found in that region. These may include:
- Chlorite – green, moss-like growths often found in phantoms or clustered layers
- Hematite – reddish-brown or metallic flakes that can tint the quartz with a warm hue
- Rutile – fine, golden to reddish needle-like strands suspended within the quartz
- Kaolinite – soft, cloudy white or beige plumes that add a dreamy, misty effect
- Lodolite (Garden Quartz) – a combination of mineral inclusions that resemble underwater or forest scenes
Included Quartz is believed to carry the amplifying power of clear quartz, enhanced by the energy of the minerals trapped within. Each inclusion—whether it’s chlorite, rutile, hematite, or others—adds a layer of energy and meaning to the crystal, creating a more complex and focused vibration.
