Gypsum
Gypsum crystals form through the interaction of water and mineral-rich solutions. They are commonly found in sedimentary environments, especially in arid regions where water evaporation is prevalent. As water containing dissolved calcium and sulfate ions evaporates, these ions combine to create the mineral gypsum. Over time, the speed of evaporation and accumulation of these crystals results in the formations of blade-like crystals found in caves. They are extremely delicate in this variety and should not be handled often.
Metaphysically, gypsum is known for its calming and soothing properties. It is believed to have a gentle energy that helps alleviate stress and anxiety. Many individuals use gypsum crystals during meditation to create a sense of tranquility and balance. Additionally, gypsum is thought to enhance communication and promote openness and understanding in relationships. It is associated with the throat chakra, encouraging clear and honest expression.
All crystals sourced responsibly and packaged with care and intention.
