Carnelian
Carnelian is a vibrant orange/red variety of chalcedony and a very special type of quartz. It forms through the deposition of silica-rich solutions in cavities and fractures of rocks, often in volcanic or sedimentary environments. The presence of iron oxide impurities gives carnelian its distinctive color.
Metaphysically, carnelian is associated with vitality, courage, and creativity. It is believed to boost energy levels, motivation, and drive. Carnelian is known to enhance physical stamina and endurance, making it an ideal stone for those seeking an extra boost of energy or embarking on challenging endeavors.
Carnelian is also associated with the Sacral chakra, the center of creativity and passion. It is said to stimulate and inspire creativity, helping individuals tap into their artistic expression and innovative thinking. The stone is believed to support confidence, self-esteem, and the manifestation of one's desires.
Whether used for boosting energy, stimulating creativity, or fostering emotional balance, carnelian is cherished for its vibrant color, energy, and its ability to inspire action, passion, and confidence.
