What sets Lemurian Quartz apart from other varieties of quartz is the prominent horizontal striations on the crystal faces. These lines, referred to as Lemurian lines, are caused by minor environmental shifts while the quartz cooled and formed. This slight change interrupted the standard growth pattern, causing the interesting lines you see before you.
