Azurite is a Copper Carbonate Hydroxide mineral known for it's rich blue color. It's a rare mineral and in this case, it's accompanied by Malachite, the portion of this piece with green inclusions.
The two minerals sometimes occur together, forming what many call "Azure-malachite" in gem and mineral trades.
These dynamic colors are so special on their own, but together, something really special happens.
We also want to note that even though some shots look very different, the photos here are all views of the same specimen of Malachite included Azurite.
